Wise Messege

Ayah & ibu sdh menikah 30 th & Michael tdk pernah lihat mrk bertengkar.
Bagi Michael, perkawinan ayah & ibu jadi teladan baginya.

Setelah menikah, dia & istrinya sering bertengkar krn hal2 kecil.
Ketika pulang kerumah ayahnya, Michael menuturkan keluhannya padanya.

Ayahnya mendengarkan lalu masuk, keluar dgn mengusung buku2 & ditumpuknya di depan Michael.

Sebagian buku sdh kuning, kelihatannya sdh disimpan lama. Dgn penuh rasa ingin tahu Michael ambil 1 buku.

Tulisannya benar tulisan ayahnya, agak miring & aneh, ada yg jelas, ada yg semrawut, bahkan ada yg tulisannya sampai menembusi beberapa halaman.

Michael baca halaman2 buku itu.
Semuanya merupakan catatan hal2 sepele, “Suhu udara berubah jadi dingin, ia mulai merajut baju wol untukku. Anak2 berisik, untung ada dia.”

Semua itu catatan kebaikan & cinta ibu kpd ayah, cinta ibu kpd anak2 & keluarga. Matanya berlinang air mata.

Michael angkat kepala, dgn haru dia berkata pd ayahnya, “Ayah, saya sangat kagum pada ayah & ibu.”

Ayahnya berkata, “Tidak perlu kagum, kamu juga bisa.” Ayah berkata lagi, “Menjadi suami istri selama puluhan tahun, tdk mungkin menghindari pertengkaran. Ibumu kalau kesal, suka cari gara2, melampiaskan kemarahannya & ngomel. Dlm buku aku tuliskan yg telah ibumu lakukan demi rumah tangga ini. Seringkali hatiku penuh amarah waktu menulis, kertasnya sampai sobek, tembus oleh pen. Tapi aku terus menulis semua kebaikannya. Aku renungkan, akhirnya emosi itu lenyap, yg tinggal semuanya kebaikan ibumu.”

Michael mendengarkan, lalu bertanya, “Ayah, apakah ibu pernah melihat catatan ini?”

Ayah tertawa & berkata, “Ibumu juga memiliki buku. Bukunya berisi kebaikan diriku. Sering kami saling bertukar buku & saling menertawakan. Ha…ha…ha…”

Tiba2 Michael sadar akan rahasia pernikahan, “Mencintai itu sangat sederhana, ingat & catat kebaikan pasangan. Lupakan segala kesalahannya
